Flat-fee legal work,
drafted by the attorney you hire.

I am Sergei Tokmakov, a California attorney. Demand letters, contracts, consultations, and specialty packages, each at a fixed fee quoted before any work begins. No firm, no intake mill, no junior associates: every deliverable on this page is my own work product.

Demand letters

Three phases, priced separately so you only buy the pressure you need. Tap any card to see exactly what is included. Background reading: the demand letter service page and the free demand letter template library.

Phase oneMost requested

Attorney Demand Letter

$575flat fee

One attorney letter on my letterhead that turns your dispute into a documented legal matter the other side has to take seriously.

Phase one, escalatedSerious disputes

Litigation-Leverage Demand Package

$1,200flat fee

The demand letter plus a court-ready draft complaint or arbitration demand attached, so the settlement threat is specific and credible.

Phase two

Pre-Litigation Negotiation Phase

$1,500flat fee

When the other side responds and the back-and-forth begins: written settlement negotiation through settlement or impasse.

How the phases fit together. The $575 letter resolves straightforward disputes. The $1,200 package adds the draft pleading as leverage for serious or litigation-ready disputes. If the other side engages and negotiation continues past the included first-response work, the matter moves into the $1,500 phase. Filing a lawsuit or appearing as counsel of record is always a separate, separately quoted engagement, California only.

Prefer to send the facts before paying? The guided intake takes about two minutes and I reply with a scoped recommendation.

Contracts

One flat fee covers drafting from scratch or redlining what the other side sent, with three rounds of revisions included. More detail on the contract drafting page, or browse the free contract template library.

Draft or redlineCore practice

Create or Redline Existing Contract

$575flat fee

Attorney drafting or redline review of one business contract, with written comments that explain what I changed and why.

What I draft and redline most

  • NDAs and confidentiality agreements
  • Master service agreements
  • SaaS terms and order forms
  • Independent contractor agreements
  • Consulting agreements
  • Vendor and supply agreements
  • Statements of work
  • Contract amendments
  • Settlement agreements
  • Separation agreements

Have the document ready? Use the guided contract intake and attach the key facts; I reply with scope confirmation before any payment.

Consultations

Two ways to get my read on your situation before committing to a bigger package. The written consultation is the standard entry point; the Zoom session is for matters where live discussion genuinely adds value.

Written Attorney Consultation

$240flat fee

Send your question and documents; get a written attorney response you can re-read, forward, and act on.

Live, one hour

1-Hour Zoom Strategy Session

$400flat fee

A working session, not a sales call: I pre-read your documents, then talk through options and the realistic path live.

Business & specialty packages

Formation, pro se filing support, and the niche fixed-fee packages I have built around recurring client problems. Tiers without a posted payment button start with an email intake; I confirm scope in writing first.

Building a SaaS product and not sure which documents you actually need? The guided SaaS intake maps your stack before anything is paid.

How I work

Written intake, attorney drafting, written delivery. Everything documented, nothing handed off.

Written intake

You send the facts and documents by email or through the package intake. I run a conflict and scope check, confirm the fixed fee in writing, and tell you if a cheaper tier fits better.

Attorney drafting

I draft and review every deliverable personally. AI-assisted research and drafting tools run under my supervision as leverage, never as a substitute for attorney judgment on your matter.

Delivery, in writing

The deliverable arrives by email, with the revision rounds your package includes. Everything stays in writing, so you always have a record of what was advised and why.

Questions clients ask before hiring me

Straight answers on payment, process, and what these packages do and do not include.

How does payment work?

Each package on this page is a fixed flat fee paid through PayPal using the button on its card. For tiers without a posted payment button, email me first; I reply with intake questions and the correct payment link or invoice. I run a conflict and scope check before any work begins.

What happens after I pay?

You get an email from me at owner@terms.law with intake questions and a short document checklist for your matter. Work begins once I have the facts and documents. The deliverable arrives by email, and any revision rounds included in the package are handled the same way, in writing.

How fast is turnaround?

Usually 3 to 5 business days after I receive the necessary documents. Rush turnaround may be available for an added fee; ask by email before you pay so I can confirm the timeline for your matter.

Can you go to court or arbitration for me?

Filing a lawsuit, initiating arbitration, or appearing as attorney of record is a separate engagement, quoted separately, with its own written engagement letter and conflict review, and it is California only. The packages on this page are pre-litigation and document work.

The one exception is the Stripe AAA Arbitration Filing Package, which includes preparing and filing the AAA demand; representation beyond filing is quoted separately.

Will you review my situation before I buy a package?

The $240 Written Attorney Consultation is the entry point for exactly that: you send the question, a short factual summary, and the key documents, and you get a written attorney response on the issues, the risks, and which package actually fits. I do not offer free case evaluations or free document reviews.

Is the AI Legal Analyst giving me legal advice?

No. The AI Legal Analyst is an attorney-supervised AI assistant that provides general legal information and helps route your matter to the right package. It is not legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. An engagement begins only after my conflict check and written confirmation.

Send the facts. I reply in writing.

I work by written intake, not phone tag. Email the documents and a short timeline of what happened; you get a scoped flat-fee answer, and if a cheaper tier covers it, I say so.
