Browse the open slots below and reserve one. You only pay the $400 after you have picked your time, so your slot is always on my calendar and there is no scheduling round-trip. Times are Pacific; your local time shows when you select a slot.
Is the $400 Zoom session right for your matter?
Tell me what is going on and I will tell you whether the live one-hour Zoom session fits, or whether the $240 written consultation, a $575 demand letter, a $575 contract draft or redline, or the $1,200 litigation-leverage package is the better starting point.
A full document review and tailored advice happen inside the paid session, not in this chat. AI-generated legal information, attorney-supervised, not legal advice.
One hour of live Zoom with screen sharing, plus a preliminary review of the key documents you send before the call. Issue spotting, a realistic read on risk and leverage, and concrete next steps. It is not drafting, filing, representation, full document review, or contact with the other side. Those move into the relevant package.
Both are entry-tier products with the same scope philosophy. The $240 Written Attorney Consultation is async: you submit your question, a short summary, and key documents (up to 30 pages), and I send a written response on the issues, risks, leverage, and next steps with a 2 business-day turnaround. The $400 Zoom session is live: one hour, screen sharing, real-time back-and-forth. Pick written for a clear, contained question you want in writing; pick Zoom when you need to talk through tradeoffs and adjust strategy in real time.
The session does not include drafting. If after the hour you want me to act, I quote the matching flat fee: a $575 Attorney Demand Letter on firm letterhead (USPS certified plus email, up to 2 revision rounds, first-response review), a $575 Create or Redline Contract (one business contract, up to 3 email revision rounds), or the $1,200 Litigation-Leverage Demand Package, which adds a court-ready draft complaint or arbitration demand attached as leverage. The session fee is separate from those package fees.
If the matter justifies it, I say so before time runs out. The hour can continue at the same hourly rate, or roll into the appropriate package. If the dispute turns into ongoing back-and-forth with the other side, that is the $1,500 Pre-Litigation Negotiation Phase: multiple counter-letters, written negotiation through settlement or impasse, and one settlement or release review. That phase is arranged by email.
After you pay the $400, I confirm a Zoom time and ask for the key materials: the contract, demand, notice, or correspondence at the center of the matter, plus a short summary of what happened and what you want. I read them before we get on the call so the hour is working time, not intake. You can upload a document here for a quick read on fit.
What is included in the hour
This is not a 15-minute "discovery call" or a free intake. It is a working session with an attorney who has already read your materials.
Preliminary document review
Send the key contract, demand, notice, or correspondence in advance. I read it before we get on Zoom.
Live Zoom with screen sharing
Walk through the documents on screen, mark up clauses, sketch out timelines, and pressure-test your plan in real time.
Issue spotting and risk read
Where the legal exposure is, what the realistic leverage points look like, what the other side is most likely to argue.
Strategy and next steps
Concrete, sequenced recommendations: what to do this week, what to gather, what to avoid saying.
What it is not
Not drafting
I do not draft demand letters, contracts, or filings inside the hour. Drafting is the $575 / $1,200 / $575 packages.
Not filing or representation
The session does not initiate court or arbitration filings, and I am not your attorney of record unless we sign a separate engagement letter.
Not full document review
Preliminary review means I read what you send and discuss it. Comprehensive document review beyond the hour is a separate written engagement.
Not third-party communication
I do not contact, negotiate with, or correspond with the other side as part of this session.
Written consultation or Zoom session?
Both are entry-tier products. Pick by format and by how complex the back-and-forth is likely to be.
Good fit for these situations
How the process works
- Pay $400 through the PayPal link. This kicks off a short conflict and scope check.
- Send your documents and a short summary by reply email. I confirm a Zoom time that works.
- We meet on Zoom for one hour, screen sharing on. I have already read the materials.
- You leave with a plan. If you want me to draft, redline, or represent you on the next step, I quote the appropriate tier.
Book the Zoom strategy session
Pick an open time above and reserve it, then pay the $400 to confirm. I verify, send the Zoom link, and confirm what documents I need.

Is the session attorney-client privileged?
After payment and a short conflict check, an attorney-client relationship is formed for the limited scope of this strategy session. The conversation is privileged.
How is this different from a $430 Upwork consult?
Same attorney, same scope, $30 lower price, and you skip the Upwork platform fees and round-trip. If you find me on Upwork first, that link works fine and the substance is identical.
What if we need more than an hour?
If the matter justifies it, I will say so before time runs out. We can either continue at the same hourly rate, or roll the engagement into the appropriate package (drafting, demand, redline, pre-litigation negotiation phase).
Can I record the call?
Yes, with notice. Zoom's built-in recording works. The materials we discuss are privileged; treat the recording the same way you would treat a written attorney memo.
What if I would rather not get on Zoom?
The $240 Written Attorney Consultation is the async alternative. Same attorney, same scope philosophy, written deliverable.
