Looking for advice on a legal issue. Here's what happened.

denied reasonable accommodation for disability. I've been dealing with this for about 7 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have worked at this company for 7 years. My position is exempt and I do not have a written employment agreement beyond the standard offer letter.

Do I have a strong case? What should my next steps be?

A $400 accommodation for a company with billions in revenue is textbook reasonable accommodation. File the EEOC charge, include all documentation of your request, the medical support, and the denial. The EEOC has been prioritizing disability accommodation cases in 2025-2026. Your employer's legal team will likely settle once they see the charge — this is an embarrassing position for a large company to defend.

Went through this 6 months ago. My advice: be persistent but professional. Companies count on you giving up. Send follow-up letters every 2 weeks, reference your original complaint, and escalate to a supervisor each time. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.
