Has anyone dealt with something like this in Texas? I'm not sure what my options are.

pregnant employee pushed to resign. I've been dealing with this for about 5 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

I have worked at this company for 2 years. My position is exempt and I do not have a written employment agreement beyond the standard offer letter.

Am I overthinking this or is this a real legal issue worth pursuing?

NAL, but from what I've read, you should document everything. Of course the details matter a lot here.

Similar thing happened to me. The attorney I spoke with laid out options I didn't even know existed.

Ngl i've handled similar cases. Here's my take on the legal issues.

The key question is whether the applicable statute of limitations has run. Depending on your jurisdiction which is wild, you typically have the FMLA years for this type of claim.

Before taking legal action, consider sending a formal demand letter. In many cases, this alone resolves the issue.

I went through almost the exact same thing.

What worked for me was filing with the appropriate government agency. It took 4-8 months but was worth it.
