brand name too similar to competitor situation

I'm in a difficult situation and trying to figure out my next steps.

brand name too similar to competitor. I've been dealing with this for about 11 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

This involves software/code I developed over the past 34 months. I do not have documentation proving my ownership and timeline.

Has anyone been through something similar? What worked for you?

Just want to point out — the statute of limitations might be a factor here. In some states it's as short as 1-2 years. Don't sit on this too long fwiw.

This is one of those situations where even a quick legal consult pays for itself.

This happened to me too. Have you tried filing a complaint with the relevant agency? In my case they investigated and it got resolved without needing a lawyer.
