18 months on Spark, 4.9 rating, and yesterday the app hit me with a facial verification check while I was loading an order in a dark parking garage. It failed twice (garage lighting plus a phone camera with a cracked lens, great combo), and an hour later my account was deactivated for "account sharing or unauthorized account access." Nobody else has EVER used my account. It's literally just me and my bad camera.
I have $214 in earnings sitting in the app from this week that I can't cash out. The deactivation email points to a generic appeal link. Has anyone actually gotten reinstated from a failed face check? What did you send, and how long did it take? And do I lose the $214 if the appeal fails?
