Quick background on my situation in Florida — any input appreciated fr fr.

denied reasonable accommodation for disability. I've been dealing with this for about 3 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have worked at this company for 10 years. My position is exempt and I do have a written employment agreement beyond the standard offer letter.

Am I overthinking this or is this a real legal issue worth pursuing?

I went through something similar last year. Filed with the EEOC and got a right-to-sue letter within 180 days. The key is timing — don't wait past the filing deadline.

Your state department of labor might handle this faster than a lawsuit. In California, the Labor Commissioner can issue penalties pretty quickly.
