I'm dealing with a situation in Colorado and need some guidance.

mass layoff without WARN Act notice. I've been dealing with this for about 8 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have worked at this company for 12 years. My position is non-exempt and I do not have a written employment agreement beyond the standard offer letter.

Do I have a strong case? What should my next steps be?

Following this thread — I'm in a very similar situation. Would love to hear how it turns out.

This happened to me too. Have you tried filing a complaint with the relevant agency? In my case they investigated and it got resolved without needing a lawyer.

Licensed attorney — a few thoughts. Here's my take on the legal issues.

The legal framework here involves both federal and state law. At the federal level, Title VII. Your state may provide additional protections.

I'd recommend documenting everything in writing from this point forward. Keep copies of all communications.

NAL, but from what I've read, you should file a complaint. That said, definitely get a lawyer to look at the specifics.
