Looking for advice on a legal issue in Texas. Here's what happened.

denied overtime for 6 months. I've been dealing with this for about 5 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have worked at this company for 11 years. My position is exempt and I do not have a written employment agreement beyond the standard offer letter.

What's the typical outcome in situations like this?

This happened to me too. Have you tried filing a complaint with the relevant agency? In my case they investigated and it got resolved without needing a lawyer.

Just want to point out — the statute of limitations might be a factor here. In some states it's as short as 1-2 years. Don't sit on this too long.
