Quick background on my situation — any input appreciated.

denied reasonable accommodation for disability. I've been dealing with this for about 13 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have worked at this company for 5 years. My position is exempt and I do not have a written employment agreement beyond the standard offer letter.

Has anyone been through something similar? What worked for you?

Fwiw my neighbor dealt with this and said the lawyer made it go away fast.

I went through almost the exact same thing.

I ended up filing with the appropriate government agency, which cost about $4-8 but saved me a lot more in the long run.

NAL, but from what I've read, you should check your state's specific laws. Of course the details matter a lot here.

NAL, but from what I've read, you should document everything. Take the above with a huge disclaimer that I'm just some person on the internet.

I've dealt with this before.

In my case, it took about 4-8 months to resolve. The key was filing with the appropriate government agency.

Check if your state has specific protections for this. Laws vary significantly.

In my experience, most employers settle once they realize you're serious about pursuing this.
