Has anyone dealt with something like this? I'm not sure what my options are.

denied overtime for 6 months. I've been dealing with this for about 2 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

What are the risks if I pursue this? What's the likely timeline?

Idk but i went through almost the exact same thing.

The #1 mistake I see here is filing with the appropriate government agency. I'd recommend gathering evidence first instead no cap.

Been there. Here's what I learned.

In my case, it took about 3-6 months to resolve. The key was having everything documented imo.

Dealt with this exact thing last year.

Once I asked for a supervisor things changed fast/manager. It took 1-3 months but was worth it.

Not a lawyer, but I have direct experience with this.

In my case, it took about 2-4 months to resolve. The key was hiring an attorney to send the initial letter.

Has anyone tried mediation before going to court? In my county, the court actually requires mediation for disputes under $25K. It was faster and cheaper than I expected, and we reached a resolution in one 3-hour session.
