English isn't my first language so bear with me. Looking for advice on a legal issue. Here's what happened.

using AI to generate marketing copy. I've been dealing with this for about 15 months now and the situation isn't improving.

This involves software/code I developed over the past 29 months. I do not have documentation proving my ownership and timeline.

Am I overthinking this or is this a real legal issue worth pursuing?

So basically just consulted with an attorney about my case. The initial consultation was free and they took it on contingency (no upfront cost, they take a percentage of the recovery). If your case has strong merits, many attorneys will work on contingency sadly.
