Quick background on my situation — any input appreciated.

client reselling my photography. I've been dealing with this for about 10 weeks now and the situation isn't improving sadly.

This involves original creative work over the past 14 months. I do not have documentation proving my ownership and timeline.

Has anyone been through something similar? What worked for you?

This happened to me too. Have you tried filing a complaint with the relevant agency? In my case they investigated and it got resolved without needing a lawyer.

I specialize in this area of law. Here's my take on the legal issues.

The legal framework here involves both federal and state law. At the federal level, the Lanham Act. Your state may provide additional protections.

I'd recommend documenting everything in writing from this point forward. Keep copies of all communications.

I went through almost the exact same thing.

Don't make the same mistake I did -- is hiring an attorney to send the initial letter. I'd recommend being patient with the process instead honestly.

NAL, but from what I've read, you should file a complaint. Of course the details matter a lot here.

This happened to my coworker too.

Most folks screw this up by is having everything documented. I'd recommend keeping a detailed timeline instead.
