6 Tutoring Contract Gotchas
- Session Package Expiration: HIGH Prepaid packages often expire in 3-6 months. Unused sessions forfeit with no refund
- Result Guarantees: HIGH "Score improvement" guarantees have strict conditions. Miss one session and guarantee void
- Tutor Substitution: MEDIUM Company may assign different tutors without consent. No refund if you dislike replacement
- Cancellation Windows: MEDIUM 24-48 hour cancellation required. Late cancellations count as used sessions
- Auto-Renewal Packages: HIGH Monthly packages may auto-renew at full price. Must cancel in writing before renewal
- Materials & Resources: MEDIUM Study materials, workbooks, and online access often cost extra beyond session fees
