"Diplomatic Immunity" Award

American businessman claimed diplomatic immunity during DUI arrest in Geneva. Had no diplomatic status whatsoever. Added false statements to police to the charges. Convicted of both offenses plus permit revoked.

"It's Legal Back Home" Award

Colorado resident arrested in Zurich airport with cannabis edibles in luggage. Argued marijuana is legal in his home state. Swiss authorities unmoved. Criminal conviction, deportation, 5-year entry ban to Schengen area.
