Wire Transfer Problem — ACH payment reversed after goods shipped

Looking for advice on a legal issue. Here's what happened.

ACH payment reversed after goods shipped. I've been dealing with this for about 16 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

The amount being held/disputed is approximately $39,507. I have tried contacting their legal department 6 times with no resolution.

Am I overthinking this or is this a real legal issue worth pursuing?

I work in this industry and unfortunately this is very common. The good news is that when people actually push back with legal representation, companies usually settle.
