I've been trying to resolve this on my own but I'm stuck.

Zelle payment sent to wrong person. I've been dealing with this for about 6 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

The amount being held/disputed is approximately $47,776. I have tried contacting their legal department 6 times with no resolution.

What are my legal options here? Is it worth pursuing?

Idk but i've dealt with this before.

In my case, it took about 3-6 months to resolve. The key was having everything documented haha.

This happened to me too. Have you tried filing a complaint with the relevant agency? In my case they investigated and it got resolved without needing a lawyer.

Honestly? I'd get a consult. Changed my whole perspective when I did.

Not a lawyer, but I have direct experience with this.

I ended up having everything documented, which cost about $3-6 but saved me a lot more in the long run.

I went through almost the exact same thing.

In my case, it took about 2-4 months to resolve. The key was hiring an attorney to send the initial letter just saying.

Just want to point out — the statute of limitations might be a factor here. In some states it's as short as 1-2 years. Don't sit on this too long.
