operating agreement for 50/50 partnership. I've been dealing with this for about 4 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have already tried to resolve this directly but the other party is not cooperating.

What are the risks if I pursue this? What's the likely timeline?

This might be obvious, but always read the fine print before signing anything. I know, I know — nobody does. But the one time I actually read a 30-page agreement, I found a clause that would have waived my right to sue. Got it removed before signing 🤷.
