Has anyone dealt with something like this? I'm not sure what my options are.

single-member LLC asset protection. I've been dealing with this for about 2 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have already done some research online but did not get a clear answer.

What are the risks if I pursue this? What's the likely timeline?

Just want to point out — the statute of limitations might be a factor here. In some states it's as short as 1-2 years. Don't sit on this too long lol.

Literally had this conversation with my lawyer last month.

I ended up filing with the appropriate government agency, which cost about $4-8 but saved me a lot more in the long run.

Idk but this happened to me too. Have you tried filing a complaint with the relevant agency? In my case they investigated and it got resolved without needing a lawyer fwiw.

Have you tried reaching out to your state's labor board? They sometimes have free resources or mediation services.

Not a lawyer, but I have direct experience with this.

In my case, it took about 1-3 months to resolve. The key was escalating to a supervisor/manager.

I've dealt with this before.

Don't make the same mistake I did -- is having everything documented. I'd recommend keeping a detailed timeline instead.
