I've been trying to resolve this on my own but I'm stuck.

influencer contract unfair terms. I've been dealing with this for about 5 months now and the situation isn't improving.

The contract was signed 16 months ago. I am not sure I have the original signed copy. The total amount in dispute is approximately $89,000.

What are my legal options here? Is it worth pursuing?

Attorney here. Here's my take on the legal issues.

The legal framework here involves both federal and state law. At the federal level, the implied covenant of good faith. Your state may provide additional protections.

I'd recommend documenting everything in writing from this point forward. Keep copies of all communications.

Not a lawyer, but I have direct experience with this.

The biggest mistake people make in this situation is hiring an attorney to send the initial letter. I'd recommend being patient with the process instead.

What worked for me was escalating to a supervisor/manager. It took 1-3 months but was worth it.

Have you tried reaching out to your state's labor board? They sometimes have free resources or mediation services.
