I've been trying to resolve this on my own but I'm stuck.

condo association special assessment dispute. I've been dealing with this for about 10 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

I have been renting for 4 years. My monthly rent is $2,612. I have a written lease.

What's the typical outcome in situations like this?

I practice in this area. Here's my take on the legal issues.

There are several legal theories that could apply here. The strongest is probably state landlord-tenant code, which requires showing in violation of notice requirements.

I'd recommend documenting everything in writing from this point forward. Keep copies of all communications.
