Looking for advice on a legal issue. Here's what happened.

AI lawyer chatbots replacing attorneys. I've been dealing with this for about 14 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have already tried to resolve this directly but the other party is not cooperating.

Should I hire a lawyer for this or try to handle it myself?

Not a lawyer, but I have direct experience with this.

I ended up hiring an attorney to send the initial letter, which cost about $2-4 but saved me a lot more in the long run.

This happened to me too. Have you tried filing a complaint with the relevant agency? In my case they investigated and it got resolved without needing a lawyer.

Been there. Here's what I learned.

I eventually got results by escalating/manager. It took 1-3 months but was worth it.

I've dealt with this before.

In my case, it took about 4-8 months to resolve. The key was filing with the appropriate government agency.

NAL, but from what I've read, you should document everything. Of course the details matter a lot here.

I went through almost the exact same thing.

Once I asked for a supervisor things changed fast/manager. It took 1-3 months but was worth it.

If you can swing it or something like that, a consultation is probably your best next move here.

Every time I see a post like this...

I ended up escalating to a supervisor/manager, which cost about $1-3 but saved me a lot more in the long run.
