Has anyone dealt with something like this? I'm not sure what my options are.

NDA prevents me from getting new job. I've been dealing with this for about 5 months now and the situation isn't improving.

The contract was signed 16 months ago. I am not sure I have the original signed copy. The total amount in dispute is approximately $145,000.

Do I have a strong case? What should my next steps be?

This happened to me too. Have you tried filing a complaint with the relevant agency? In my case they investigated and it got resolved without needing a lawyer.
