On mobile so apologies for formatting. Quick background on my situation — any input appreciated.

commercial landlord locked me out. I've been dealing with this for about 9 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

I have been renting for 2 years. My monthly rent is $3,203. We are on a month-to-month now.

What are the risks if I pursue this? What's the likely timeline?

I mean i went through almost the exact same thing.

Don't make the same mistake I did -- is escalating to a supervisor/manager. I'd recommend following the formal complaint procedure instead.

Have you tried reaching out to your state's bar association? They sometimes have free resources or mediation services just saying.

Classic scenario honestly.

The trap most people fall into is filing with the appropriate government agency. I'd recommend gathering evidence first instead.
