What's the deal with changing registered agent?

Using a throwaway bc my boss knows my main. Looking for advice on a legal issue. Here's what happened.

changing registered agent. I've been dealing with this for about 6 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have already done some research online but got conflicting advice.

Went through something like this -- ended up getting a lawyer involved which made all the difference.

This comes up a lot.

I ended up escalating to a supervisor/manager, which cost about $1-3 but saved me a lot more in the long run.
