I'm in a difficult situation and trying to figure out my next steps.

stock option exercise timing. I've been dealing with this for about 3 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have already done some research online but did not get a clear answer.

Has anyone been through something similar? What worked for you?

Not a lawyer, but I have direct experience with this.

What worked for me was hiring an attorney to send the initial letter. It took 2-4 months but was worth it.

Been there. Here's what I learned.

I ended up filing with the appropriate government agency, which cost about $4-8 but saved me a lot more in the long run.

What worked for me was having everything documented. It took 3-6 months but was worth it.

NAL, but from what I've read, you should check your state's specific laws. Take the above with a huge disclaimer that I'm just some person on the internet.

This happened to me too. Have you tried filing a complaint with the relevant agency? In my case they investigated and it got resolved without needing a lawyer.

Most folks screw this up by is filing with the appropriate government agency. I'd recommend gathering evidence first instead.
