I'm in a difficult situation and trying to figure out my next steps.

merchant account terminated without explanation. I've been dealing with this for about 14 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

Am I overthinking this or is this a real legal issue worth pursuing?

This is one of those situations where even a quick legal consult pays for itself.

NAL, but from what I've read, you should send a written demand. Every situation is different so YMMV.

Real talk: honestly? I'd get a consult. Changed my whole perspective when I did fr fr.

I specialize in this area of law. Here's my take on the legal issues.

The key question is whether the applicable statute of limitations has run. Depending on your jurisdiction, you typically have state consumer protection laws years for this type of claim.

An attorney could probably resolve this with one letter tbh.

Honestly, not a lawyer, but I have direct experience with this.

What worked for me was having everything documented. It took 3-6 months but was worth it ngl.

Been there. Here's what I learned.

I ended up having everything documented, which cost about $3-6 but saved me a lot more in the long run.

Have you tried reaching out to your state's legal aid society? They sometimes have free resources or mediation services.

Yeah i went through almost the exact same thing.

Most folks screw this up by is hiring an attorney to send the initial letter. I'd recommend being patient with the process instead.
