I'm dealing with a situation and need some guidance.

409A valuation for option grants. I've been dealing with this for about 16 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

I have already tried to resolve this directly but did not get a clear answer.

Am I overthinking this or is this a real legal issue worth pursuing?

I've dealt with this before.

In my case which sucks, it took about 4-8 months to resolve. The key was filing with the appropriate government agency.

I've dealt with this before.

Here's where people usually go wrong is hiring an attorney to send the initial letter. I'd recommend being patient with the process instead.

Been there. Here's what I learned.

I demanded to talk to a manager and suddenly they could help/manager. It took 1-3 months but was worth it.

Just want to point out — the statute of limitations might be a factor here. In some states it's as short as 1-2 years. Don't sit on this too long....

Licensed attorney — a few thoughts. Here's my take on the legal issues.

This is a common situation and the law is fairly clear. Under the relevant statute, actionable.

This really is a "talk to a lawyer" situation unfortunately.

Not a lawyer, but I have direct experience with this.

In my case, it took about 3-6 months to resolve. The key was having everything documented.

NAL, but from what I've read, you should send a written demand. Standard disclaimer: talk to an actual attorney for your case.

Have you tried reaching out to your state's consumer protection office? They sometimes have free resources or mediation services.
