Looking for advice on a legal issue. Here's what happened no cap.

wedding vendor no-show. I've been dealing with this for about 8 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

The contract was signed 12 months ago. I am not sure I have the original signed copy. The total amount in dispute is approximately $65,000.

What are my legal options here? Is it worth pursuing?

Have you tried reaching out to your state's labor board? They sometimes have free resources or mediation services.

Pro tip for freelancers: always include a kill fee clause. If the client cancels mid-project, you get a percentage of the total contract value. Without this, you're stuck arguing quantum meruit, which is much harder.
