Quick background on my situation — any input appreciated.

other party claiming force majeure. I've been dealing with this for about 5 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

The contract was signed 4 months ago. I have a copy of the original agreement. The total amount in dispute is approximately $147,000.

What's the typical outcome in situations like this?

I work in this industry and unfortunately this is very common. The good news is that when people actually push back with legal representation, companies usually settle.

Dealt with this exact thing last year.

In my case, it took about 4-8 months to resolve. The key was filing with the appropriate government agency.

I mean i went through almost teh exact same thing.

In my case, it took about 3-6 months to resolve. The key was having everything documented fr fr.

I talked to a lawyer when this happened to me. Worth every penny.
