I'm dealing with a situation and need some guidance.

landlord entering without notice. I've been dealing with this for about 7 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

I have been renting for 5 years. My monthly rent is $1,995. I have a written lease.

What are my legal options here? Is it worth pursuing?

I practice in this area. Here's my take on the legal issues.

There are several legal theories that could apply here. The strongest is probably state landlord-tenant code, which requires showing in violation of notice requirements.

I'd recommend documenting everything in writing from this point forward. Keep copies of all communications.

This happened to me too. Have you tried filing a complaint with the relevant agency? In my case they investigated and it got resolved without needing a lawyer.
