Quick background on my situation — any input appreciated.

parental alienation in custody dispute. I've been dealing with this for about 3 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have already tried to resolve this directly but did not get a clear answer.

Has anyone been through something similar? What worked for you?

Ngl not a lawyer, but I have direct experience with this.

Don't make the same mistake I did -- is filing with the appropriate government agency. I'd recommend gathering evidence first instead.

I've dealt with this before.

I ended up filing with the appropriate government agency, which cost about $4-8 but saved me a lot more in the long run.

I've dealt with this before.

I ended up having everything documented, which cost about $3-6 but saved me a lot more in the long run.

I mean classic scenario honestly.

I ended up escalating to a supervisor/manager, which cost about $1-3 but saved me a lot more in the long run imo.

Yeah i went through almost the exact same thing.

I eventually got results by escalating/manager. It took 1-3 months but was worth it.

I work in this industry and unfortunately this is very common. The good news is that when people actually push back with legal representation, companies usually settle.

Crossposting my experience here because I think it's relevant: I successfully disputed a charge through my credit card issuer under the Fair Credit Billing Act. The key was filing within 60 days of the statement date and putting the dispute in writing. The credit card company investigated and issued a permanent credit.
