I'm in a difficult situation and trying to figure out my next steps.

domestic partnership property rights. I've been dealing with this for about 6 months now and the situation isn't improving.

I have already consulted briefly with a lawyer but the other party is not cooperating.

Am I overthinking this or is this a real legal issue worth pursuing?

Bookmarking this. The legal system is slow and frustrating, but persistence pays off. I've seen cases that seemed hopeless end up settling favorably after the defendant realized the plaintiff wasn't going away.
