Chargeback Dispute — Venmo scam buyer reversed payment

Has anyone dealt with something like this? I'm not sure what my options are.

Venmo scam buyer reversed payment. I've been dealing with this for about 6 weeks now and the situation isn't improving.

The amount being held/disputed is approximately $5,739. I have tried contacting their legal department 3 times with no resolution.

What are my legal options here? Is it worth pursuing?

Venmo is NOT designed for commercial transactions and they do not offer seller protection for goods sold to strangers haha.

The person who reversed the payment committed fraud. File a police report and sue them in small claims court. For $5,700, small claims is your best option.
