SAN DIEGO (Reuters) – On Saturday, police used smoke and tear gas, arrested 19 Occupy Oakland protesters who tried to take over the shuttered Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center in downtown Oakland. Three officers were injured.
Update 1/29/12: According to Interim Police Chief Howard Jordan, more than 300 people were arrested. (LA Times).
